The Research Team and Horticulture Services Team at Fluence by Osram are hosting a webinar on July 15 that will highlight their research on the impact of light spectra on greenhouse cucumber plant development. During the webinar, Leo Lansbergen, Horticulture Service Specialist at Fluence, will discuss the technique of growing cucumbers in a high-wire controlled environment with supplemental lighting. He also will share the results of research with Fluence’s partner in Belgium, Proefstation voor de Groenteteelt.
The webinar will offer a closer look at research conducted during the last lighting season. Attendees can learn how different light spectra impact not only impact winter production, as well as how you can use light to produce higher-quality and higher-yielding plants year-round.
