The Pennsylvania Vegetable Marketing and Research Program is looking for original recipes and other submissions featuring seasonal vegetables for a free e-cookbook to be released in August.

The digital cookbook, titled Pennsylvania Vegetables, focuses on enjoying seasonal goods in and around August, which is recognized as Pennsylvania Produce Month. Sought-after submissions for the book include recipes, messages, feel-good stories, videos, tips, instructions and other interactive content from farmers, chefs, nutritionists, bloggers, enthusiasts, hobbyists, groups, organizations, kids, consumers and more.

All submissions are to be entered in a drawing (one entry per person), with one winner selected (after the e-cookbook debuts) as the recipient of a $100 Visa gift card.

Digital copies of the cookbook are free and can be ordered online at paveggies.org. More details about submitting content for the e-cookbook are available at the website as well.

The Pennsylvania Vegetable Marketing and Research Program is a statewide marketing order, which serves the state’s vegetable growers by promoting Pennsylvania-grown vegetables and funding practical vegetable production research.
