Ingredients:
1 pound chipped steak, cut into pieces
1 tablespoon oil
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/8 teaspoon ginger
4 cups broccoli (1 bunch, cut up)
1 tablespoon corn starch
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon sherry or cooking wine
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Directions:
Heat oil in a large skillet. Add beef, garlic and ginger then stir-fry quickly. Add the broccoli, then lower the heat and cook until broccoli is tender, but crisp. In a large measuring cup, combine corn starch with the broth, sherry and soy sauce and mix well, breaking up any lumps. Add liquid to the beef mixture and stir until sauce thickens. Serve over cooked rice.
