BAY SHORE, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Islip Animal Shelter. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions.
Two of their available pets are 16-week old brother and sister Broccoli and Caulifower.
Here's a full description of the two from the Islip Animal Shelter Facebook page:
Meet Broccoli and Cauliflower. This brother/sister bonded pair is ready for their new home. They came in with severe eye infections and due to that have lost most of their vision. That doesn't stop them from playing. Broccoli is overly affectionate and loves to sit with you. Cauliflower is a little more independent and explores more, we believe he has more vision than his sister. They are 16 weeks old now and are ready to leave here and get into a new home.

The Islip Animal Shelter is located on 210 S Denver Avenue in Bay Shore. The shelter is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. To learn more about the Islip Animal Shelter, visit their Facebook page here.
