A Long Neck woman faces charges Nov. 7 after police say she took an egg salad sandwich and shoved it in another woman’s face before threatening her with a hammer.
Police went to a home at 5?29 p.m. in Court Drive for a report of an altercation involving Regina Love, 55, and two other women, one 74 and the other 72, said Master Cpl. Heather Pepper of the Delaware State Police.
The three women were verbally arguing but it became physical when Love took an egg salad sandwich and shoved it into the 74-year-old woman’s face and threatened to cause her physical harm, Pepper said. Love then grabbed a hammer and went after the 74-year-old, Pepper said.
Love was taken into custody at the residence without incident and transported to Troop 7, where she was charged with felony aggravated menacing, terroristic threatening, and offensive touching. She was arraigned at the Justice of the Peace Court 3 and released on her own recognizance.
