Need a break from rich, heavy holiday food? Phillippi Creek Village Restaurant & Oyster Bar has a solution. The restaurant recently added a handful of new seafood salads to its menu, items that can be eaten there or picked up curbside.
The new offerings include a "Florida Cobb salad" that comes with fried grouper hunks, bacon, hard-boiled egg, radishes, guacamole, blue cheese and an orange vinaigrette; a tuna Niçoise salad made with green beans, potatoes, tomatoes, more eggs and radishes, olives and a Dijon vinaigrette; and a chopped salad made with cucumbers, tomatoes, hearts of palm, cilantro, radishes and an avocado vinaigrette and topped with grilled shrimp.
The restaurant also offers a Sunday brunch service each week and happy hour from 3 to 5:30 p.m. daily, in addition to its lunch and dinner options.
