Alyssa began by microwaving the potatoes for 14 minutes, which is an alternative to boiling the vegetables on the stove, then used a knife to chop each one in half.
A spoon was then used to remove the centre of the potatoes, leaving a skin of one to two centimetres.
The cooked potato filling can also be used as a side dish to bake potato bites.

She then flipped the skins and cooked until golden before seasoning with salt and pepper and serving with the toppings.
The easy meal recommendation quickly captured the attention of others part of the online community.
