BAY CITY, MI — It’s 2021 and Bay City’s Salad Bowl has healthy choices to help you stick to that New Year’s resolution.

Salad Bowl, located inside City Market, 401 Center Ave. in downtown Bay City, offers fresh, made-to-order salads. Choose your size and your ingredients and they’ll create a nutritious meal to-go.

“Instead of the traditional salad bar line where you build it yourself, we adapted for safety reasons to everything being protected behind plexiglass and a Salad Bowl employee makes your gourmet salad with all your favorite fixings,” said General Manager Margie Brown. “Our dressings and options change daily, as we offer only the freshest available ingredients, and we offer a gourmet specialty salad of the week as well. We love getting creative.”

Recent gourmet salad-of-the-week creations include the vegan quinoa salad and zucchini bacon basil salad, Brown said.

Salad Bowl is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday. City Market is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

Other City Market tenants include City Grind Coffee and Cookies, Bonez Barbeque & Soul Food, Say Cheese!, Tex-Mex Grille, Heidi’s Darn Good Cookies, Downtown House of Pizza and more.
