TULSA, Okla. — A new way to get a salad at Reasor’s debuted in Tulsa’s Brookside neighborhood on Thursday.
“Sally the Salad Robot,” created by Chowbotics arrived to revamp the salad bar experience at the grocery store.
The new machine is full of fresh vegetables which are restocked daily by employees, says Brookside Reasor’s Director of Deli and Bakery Reggie Carmon.
Carmon says customers can use the touchscreen to select pres-set salad options or build their own, and the machine is to be cleaned every day.
Salads, which start at $6.50, can also be ordered through the Chowbotics app.
Carmon says that Sally is not replacing any employees. It will soon be available at Midtown and Broken Arrow Reasor’s locations.
