Ingredients
- 1/3 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup celery, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1-1/2 cups Cheddar cheese
- 12 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
Directions
In a large saucepan, sauté onions and celery in butter until tender. Add potatoes and broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Add seasonings, milk, sour cream, bacon and cheese. Cook over low heat until cheese is melted.
