"The Drive-Thru Revolution is coming for you."
You may have noticed that the midtown Roses & More flower shop is literally no more, and there’s a brand new structure being built at 5501 E. Speedway Blvd.
The fast-food salad giant Salad and Go, which got its start in Gilbert, Arizona, is moving into the corner at Speedway and Craycroft sometime this summer.
Salad and Go got its start eight years ago and has since opened 31 locations in the Phoenix area, with plans to open its first group of non-Arizona locations over in Texas.
The healthy drive-thru will be dishing out chef-created salads, wraps, $2.99 breakfast burritos, soup, and beverages for $1. The beverage deal is all day, any day, and any size, which includes organic cold brew coffee, iced teas, and house-made lemonades.
The process is simple when ordering. You basically grab your salad and go because of the lack of seating. It’s perfect for those who have a short lunch break or are simply in a hurry. They’ve got the drive-thru but you will also be able to order ahead of time by using the Salad and Go app or ordering online.
A second location is also planned to open in Fall 2021 at 1730 E. Tucson Marketplace Blvd — located in the area near Dave & Buster’s and Costco.
Salad and Go’s first Tucson restaurant will be located at 5501 E. Speedway Blvd. For more information, visit saladandgo.com.
